Our Story

THE VANIER
FAMILY

In 1983, Gaétan Vanier started his excavation company with one truck, one excavator and one simple belief: good work speaks for itself. Forty-three years later, that belief hasn't changed.

Gaétan passed away in 2017, but his legacy lives on in every project his children Marguerite, Martin and Pascal lead with the same precision he instilled in them.

G. Vanier Excavation is a family that digs, delivers and builds — and has been proud to do so for over four decades in Greater Laval.

MARGUERITE VANIER

The eldest Vanier, Marguerite grew up on her father's job sites. She now leads the company with the same rigour and warmth that have defined the Vanier name for 43 years — overseeing client relations, finances and company strategy.

Director · Site Supervisor

MARTIN VANIER

Trained in civil engineering, Martin is the family's field man. He coordinates excavation crews, supervises the most complex projects and ensures every job is executed to the highest industry standards.

Secretary · Operations

PASCAL VANIER

Pascal manages delivery logistics, fleet maintenance and daily operations. His mastery of heavy equipment and safety procedures ensures that every delivery and project runs smoothly from first call to final load.
